Tuition and Fees for Academic Year 2013-14

These fees apply as of fall quarter 2013. The Board of Directors reserves the right to change the fee schedule at any time. Students can expect increases in tuition and fees over the years of their attendance.

Financial Aid

Federal student aid is financial help for students to pay for educational expenses at an eligible postsecondary school. The Academy became eligible for federal aid in January 2009.

The Academy participates in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (or simply, Direct Loan) Program. Students borrow directly from the U.S. Department of Education. Direct loans include subsidized and unsubsidized Direct Stafford Loans and Direct PLUS Loans. The maximum amount of Stafford Loans a graduate student can receive per year is $20,500, and no more than $8,500 of this amount may be in subsidized loans. PLUS Loans do not have an upper limit per year, but are offered under different loan terms. Only students who have been officially accepted into the Rabbinical, Cantorial, or Chaplaincy Schools may apply for federal financial aid. Financial aid is available only for the regular Fall, Winter and Spring trimesters, not for the Summer session.

Once you receive your official letter of acceptance to the Academy, please contact our Financial Aid office at (310) 824-1586. The Financial Aid administrator will meet with you to explain everything that is involved in applying for federal financial aid.
