Nashville, Tennessee

Q2) How did you first hear of AJRCA?

My mother, Debbie Israel, graduated from AJRCA’s Rabbinic program over a decade ago.

Q3) What was it about AJRCA that drew you to enroll here?

I’ve felt for years that Chaplaincy would enhance my work at Vanderbilt Hillel, but didn’t see an option for how to make that happen until I heard about AJRCA’s distance learning options. From there it was an easy decision!

Q4) What were you doing prior to enrolling?

I am the Executive Director of Vanderbilt Hillel

Q5) As you embark on this experience, what are you most excited about?

I am looking forward to immersing myself in Chaplaincy and learning new ways to connect with, support, and inspire my students and stakeholders.

Welcome Ari!

  1. Your natural instinct for counseling and being present with your students and people of all ages make this an obvious next step. I’m so privileged to share this next journey with you.
