Today we’re talking with incoming chaplaincy student Lauren Mathon who joined the AJRCA Israel Trip earlier in the Summer.

Q1) Where do you live?

Tucson, Arizona, but I grew up in Los Angeles

Q2) How did you first hear of AJRCA?

A Rabbi/Teacher at Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles told me about AJRCA

Q3) What was it about AJRCA that drew you to enroll here?

The Jewish Chaplaincy Program

Q4) What were you doing prior to enrolling?

Retired Judge, Volunteer National Park Ranger

Q5) As you embark on this experience, what are you most excited about?

Learning how to comfort people in distress
