Today we’re talking with incoming Chaplaincy student Lynn Wilson.
Q1) Where do you live?
Oak Park, California
Q2) How did you first hear of AJRCA?
From Rabbi Camras of Shomrei Torah. He highly recommended AJRCA.
Q3) What was it about AJRCA that drew you to enroll here?
I took Revital Goldreich’s Art Midrash course and became exposed to the high level of teaching and the creative process. I also found the students warm, highly motivated and Torah centric which all was a real draw for me.
Q4) What were you doing prior to enrolling?
I have been doing multiple things. I am currently finishing my Masters of Jewish Studies at Hebrew College while dual enrolled at AJRCA. I am also doing some counseling work at the San Fernando Valley Counseling Center.
Q5) As you embark on this experience, what are you most excited about?
I am most excited to expand my skills and knowledge and focus them into a Chaplaincy. I’m excited to bring Torah to a place where it can provide comfort.
