Q1) Where do you live?

I live in Thousand Oaks, CA which is the midpoint between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, northwest of LA.

Q2) How did you first hear of AJRCA?

I know about the school from 13 years ago when I was enrolled in the cantorial program for a short time.

Q3) What was it about AJRCA that drew you to enroll here?

The chaplaincy school is accredited, and I had a good experience when I studied at AJRCA in 2006.

Q4) What were you doing prior to enrolling?

I was in transition and wanted to change vocation to reflect my passion for Judaism in general. I started out in automotive research, moved to consultancy and last, I was a sales director for a European software company. I feel that it is time to move into the field of becoming a clergy. To share, Torah, Talmud, prayers with people in need. I want to help people find their spiritual path.

Q5) As you embark on this experience, what are you most excited about?

To have the opportunity to meet people on their spiritual journey. Help them connect with their inner self and if proper share my passion for Judaism. Make new friends at AJRCA and have fun learning together.

Welcome Benny!
