Meet the New Class: Jane Heyman

Today we’re talking with incoming Cantorial student Jane Heyman.

Q1) Where do you live?

Mount Prospect Illinois (Northwest Suburbs of Chicago)

Q2) How did you first hear of AJRCA?

I heard about AJRCA from a former graduate, Heather Aranyi.

Q3) What was it about AJRCA that drew you to enroll here?

I love that I can continue my work in my community while I become a part of the nationwide (and worldwide) AJRCA community.

Q4) What were you doing prior to enrolling?

Before beginning my studies, I was working as a Cantorial Soloist/Clergy Associate, Hebrew and Religious School teacher, Bet Mitzvah tutor, and Certified Public Accountant.

Q5) As you embark on this experience, what are you most excited about?

I am so excited to study with like minded people from all over the country and grow new relationships with other Jewish students and professionals.
