“As a chaplain I want to serve my constituents with compassion and love for our tradition.”
– Benny Sommerfeld
1) With the ceremony approaching, what emotions are you feeling?
I’m feeling proud, happy and relieved that I will graduate in May and be able to serve as a Chaplain.
2) What is one learning from your Academy experience that you will take with you after graduation?
The camaraderie and talented classmates that I will have in my network of clergy friends.
3) Is there anything you learned at AJRCA that truly surprised you?
The depth of the syllabus in each subject. It has truly been a great learning experience.
4) If you could go back in time and tell your pre-AJRCA self one thing, what would that be?
Embrace uncertainty with courage and not with fear.
Congratulations Benny!
