Courses in the fall and spring semesters meet once per week, except for Hebrew, which meets twice weekly.

Classes may require additional contact throughout the semester through online or email communication. Students are required to attend the student-led Monday Shaharit service and the colloquium that follows.

Winter and Summer Miniterms are 10-day intensives, with classes meeting Sunday through Thursday in the winter and Monday through Friday in the summer. There is often a paper or project due after the term ends. The classes offered are most often electives; students are not required to register for a class as they are in the fall and spring.
