Breast and Ovarian Cancer in the Jewish Community

Join us via Zoom on Monday, November 7th at 12:25pm PT for our next AJRCA Lunch & Learn. We welcome Jenna Fields, MA, MSW, the California Regional Director of Sharsheret who will be discussing “Breast and Ovarian Cancer in the Jewish Community.”

Our Speaker

Jenna Fields, MA, MSW, is the California Regional Director of Sharsheret, the national Jewish nonprofit supporting women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer, and hereditary risk for cancer. Sharsheret opened its California office in 2016 under her leadership, and has served more than 2,000 people and their caregivers facing breast cancer or ovarian cancer during that time. She has led 2,500 educational programs across the West Coast in partnership with dedicated volunteers, medical centers, synagogues, and schools, raising awareness within the Jewish and greater community about breast and ovarian cancer, and elevated risks for hereditary cancers.

Prior to her current role, Jenna worked at the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles as the Director of Caring for Jews in Need and the Valley Alliance Director of Women’s Philanthropy. She graduated in 2010 from the School of Social Work at the University of Southern California and School of Jewish Nonprofit Management at Hebrew Union College. She holds a BA in Psychology from George Washington University. She lives in LA with her husband and two daughters.
