Q1) Where do you live?

Santa Rosa, CA

Q2) How did you first hear of AJRCA?

I can’t quite recall but after meeting AJRCA students, faculty and alumni at a Mid-Winter Retreat in Palm Springs several years ago, I knew I needed to learn more about the school!

Q3) What was it about AJRCA that drew you to enroll here?

After my virtual visit last winter, I sensed that I was “home.” That, combined with the flexibility of the program, made the decision to enroll easy.

Q4) What were you doing prior to enrolling?

I am in my seventh year serving as Cantorial Soloist at Congregation Shomrei Torah in Santa Rosa. Additionally, I tutor B’nei Mitzvah students, coordinate the B’nei Mitzvah program, and direct the choir. I have two kids (ages 11 and 7), a husband, and a dog. Life is busy!

Q5) As you embark on this experience, what are you most excited about?

The path to Cantorial school has been 15 years in the making. I’m excited to finally be in the right place at the right time.

Welcome Erica!
