Our courses are chosen to give a broad well-balanced education so that our graduates are intellectually and emotionally prepared to lead, educate and inspire their communities and individual constituents. Our classes offer studies in Bible (Commentaries, Prophets, Writings), Rabbinic Literature (Talmud, Midrash, Codes), Jewish History (Ancient-Modern), Jewish Philosophy (Ancient-Modern), Practical Rabbinics (leadership and Pastoral skills), Mysticism and Mussar Studies (Hasidic and Kabbalistic Literature), Hebrew language, Liturgy, Clinical Pastoral Education, Interfaith Studies, Sephardic Studies and various other electives including hybrid/distance learning opportunities and independent studies. Each class is filled not only with scholarly sharing, but also opportunity for dialogue and creative contribution by class members and guest lecturers.
